Nutella Popsicles

When I saw this Nutella popsicle recipe I thought 1. how simple 2. looks delicious and 3. my son will love these. Just in time for our new fridge to come, I now have a larger and flat freezer space to make them (our other fridge is a split door and has NO freezer space). The heat and humidity are still present in the month of August, so we have plenty of time to enjoy these tasty treats.

This recipe only requires 3 ingredients! I had my 4 year old son help make the popsicles. He had a blast helping Mama “cook”, and couldn’t wait for them to freeze. It’s a great opportunity to “cook” with him, teach him about measurements, and Mommy & me time. Before making the recipe be sure you have all the things you need such as reusable popsicle molds. Using reusable molds is convenient to clean and make more, and is more environmentally friendly.

Instructions
  1. In a bowl mix the milk and cool whip.
  2. Add the Nutella and whisk until smooth.
  3. Pour into your popsicle mold and freeze for up to 6-10 hours. To make this easier I poured the mixture into a measuring cup (with pouring spout) then into the mold.
  4. When your popsicles are ready to eat run the mold under warm water for a short amount of time in order to easily slide the popsicle out.
